Your keys never leave this phone

Your recovery phrase is generated on the device and kept in its secure storage: Android Keystore. Swappie has no servers to leak it.

Installing for the first time? The download page walks through it step by step.

Read the install guide

  • No. Swappie is self-custody software. Your recovery phrase and keys are created and stored on your phone, and only you can move your funds.

  • Install Swappie on a new phone and import your recovery phrase. Swappie uses standard BIP-39 phrases and common derivation paths, so compatible wallets can restore it too. Without the phrase, nobody can recover the wallet, including us.

  • Not yet. Swappie is in early access and has not completed an independent audit. Keep your recovery phrase backed up and only hold amounts you are comfortable testing with.

  • Reviewed transfers are implemented in this development build. Testnet is enabled by default. Mainnet use has not passed an independent security audit.

  • Swappie is built for iOS and Android. The iOS release is planned; early access is Android only for now.

  • Early access builds are published here first. Each file comes with a SHA-256 checksum so you can confirm it has not been changed.

  • Swappie has no servers. While the app is open, your phone asks each network's RPC provider for your balances directly, and you can switch automatic updates off in Profile. Your recovery phrase and keys are never sent.
